Opening soon
The Boring Company lists these as “Opening Soon,” plus seven more it hasn’t named. None is open for boarding yet, so use the nearest open station:
- Virgin
- Hughes Center
- 4744 Paradise (by UNLV)
- Renaissance Hotel
- Hyatt Place
- Stirling Club
- The Collective
The company says Clark County and the City of Las Vegas have approved 68 miles of tunnel and 123 stations in all.
Fremont Street Experience (planned)
Before there was a Strip, there was Fremont Street. Las Vegas grew up around these five blocks. In 1994 the city closed Fremont Street to cars, and on Dec. 14, 1995, the Fremont Street Experience opened beneath a barrel-vaulted canopy that’s now the Viva Vision screen: 1,375 feet long and about 90 feet above the street.
Status: approved, not built. There’s no Loop station downtown today, and no fare. On June 15, 2022, the Las Vegas City Council unanimously approved a 50-year agreement with The Boring Company that named five first downtown stops: The Strat, the Fremont Street Experience, Slotzilla, Garage Mahal at Circa and the Plaza. In January 2026 the city issued its first permit for early tunnel work from the convention center toward downtown. No downtown opening date has been announced.
Getting downtown today
- The Deuce (RTC): runs 24/7 along Las Vegas Boulevard to downtown. A Strip-route fare is $4 one way or $8 for 24 hours. The nearest open Loop station is Sahara, on the Deuce’s route.
- The Monorail doesn’t come downtown. Its northern end is the SAHARA station.
- Driving: the Fremont Street Experience garage entrance is at 4th Street and Carson Avenue. The canopy blocks are pedestrian-only, so set rideshare pickups at a cross street.
Near the future station
- Viva Vision shows: free, at the top of every hour from 6 p.m. to 2 a.m., plus free concerts on three stages nightly.
- The Mob Museum (Free Gem): 300 Stewart Ave., in the restored 1933 federal courthouse and post office. Open daily 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Book online for an arrival before 11 a.m. or after 5 p.m. to save $7 a ticket (online only; blackout dates apply).
- Carson Kitchen (Free Gem): 124 S. 6th St., in the restored John E. Carson Hotel. Happy hour runs Mon.–Fri. 3–5 p.m., in the bar area only.
- Downtown Container Park (Free Gem): 707 Fremont St. Free entry, Treehouse and playground. Kids are welcome until 9 p.m., then it’s 21+.
- The Neon Museum (Insider Gem in the app): 770 Las Vegas Blvd. N., the boneyard where retired Vegas signs get a second life.
Allegiant Stadium (planned)
West of Interstate 15, across from Mandalay Bay, the dark dome of Allegiant Stadium has become part of the skyline since the Raiders arrived for the 2020 season. It hosted Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024. On game nights, the walk over the Hacienda Bridge is half the experience.
Status: planned. Not under construction and not open. A stadium station has been part of the Loop plans since at least 2022, when the Review-Journal reported an Allegiant Stadium stop in the planned Tropicana Loop. On Sept. 2, 2026, the Las Vegas Stadium Authority approved up to $75 million toward the Raiders’ roughly $158 million North Entry project. The team says the design leaves room for a future station on The Boring Company’s tunnel network, with construction expected to start in the third quarter of 2027 and finish by the end of 2028. No official station name, opening date or fare has been announced.
Getting to Allegiant Stadium today
- Walk: from Mandalay Bay over the Hacienda Bridge, about 0.3 miles or 10–15 minutes. It’s pedestrian-only on game and select event days.
- The Deuce (RTC): 24/7, with the closest stop at Mandalay Bay. On game days RTC also runs Game Day Express routes.
- Rideshare: the official pickup and drop-off is the front half of Lot N, 5285 Dean Martin Dr. Taxis and general drop-off use Diablo Drive and Procyon Street.
- Good to know: the stadium is cashless, and parking lots allow no re-entry.
Around the stadium
- Allegiant Stadium Tours: about 75 minutes and more than a mile of walking, from $65.99. Everyone age 2 and up needs a ticket. The stadium lists 10% codes for Nevada residents (NEVADA10) and for military, veterans, first responders, hospital workers and teachers (SERVE10); they can’t be combined.
- Swingers Crazy Golf: Mandalay Bay, 3950 S. Las Vegas Blvd., at the Strip end of the Hacienda Bridge. Crazy golf with cocktails and food. It’s 21+ except during Family Sessions (last family tee time 5:30 p.m.).
