Road closures and the track footprint

The circuit runs on public streets: Las Vegas Boulevard, Harmon Avenue, Koval Lane and Sands Avenue. When the track is “hot,” the circuit is fully closed for race activity. These are the official track and road closure times from the F1 Las Vegas A–Z guide:

Check before you go: the official guide lists the Thursday and Friday reopenings as “Friday 11/21” and “Saturday, 11/22,” which do not match those weekdays. We show the weekdays. The official F1 Las Vegas app shows routes with real-time road openings and closures.

Driving to The Venetian or The Palazzo? The Venetian says roads begin closing at 1:00 PM, are fully closed by 3:00 PM and reopen between midnight and 3:00 AM, Thursday to Saturday. During closures, it says cars can reach its garage and valet over the temporary bridge at Flamingo Road and Koval Lane, and The Palazzo garage is closed for entry and exit.

Best times to move

Las Vegas Monorail: 24/7 during race week

The Monorail is scheduled to run nonstop 24/7 from 7:00 AM Tuesday, Nov 17 through 3:00 AM Monday, Nov 23, 2026, with trains every 4–8 minutes. The Monorail says it is elevated and does not interfere with the races, so you can move between race zones while the streets are closed.

Three stations inside the race area

Staying outside the race area? Take a southbound train from SAHARA, Westgate or Boingo Station at the Las Vegas Convention Center, or a northbound train from MGM Grand.

New Paradise Road stations

The Boring Company lists Virgin Hotels, 4744 Paradise (by UNLV) and Hughes Center as “Opening Soon,” not open, as of Oct 30, 2026.

Reported: the Las Vegas Review-Journal (Oct 22, 2026) quoted LVCVA President and CEO Steve Hill saying the Paradise Road extension is expected to open before the race, with new stations at 4744 Paradise, Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and the former Gordon Biersch site on Paradise Road. It was still going through permit inspections. We will update this page if it opens.

Rideshare pickup and drop-off

The organizers list designated rideshare pickup and drop-off locations at:

Use the one closest to your assigned zone. The official transportation site has a rideshare map for each location. Parking is limited around and inside the circuit and is not sold through the event.

Walking and pedestrian bridges

Reported: the Las Vegas Review-Journal (Oct 26, 2026) reported that crews will enclose several Strip pedestrian bridges to block free views of the racing, with some bridges closed overnight in early November for the work.

Can you watch without a grandstand ticket?

We did not find any official free viewing area. The lowest-cost official option is a general admission zone ticket: the organizers say viewing platforms in general admission zones are standing room only, first come, first served. We do not list ticket prices because they change often; check f1lasvegasgp.com.

Verified race-week deals

We have not listed restaurants or other deals near the circuit yet, because we only list places and offers we can confirm on their own official pages. Inside the circuit, the organizers say food and drinks are sold in the fan zones, outside food and drinks are not allowed (except for medical or dietary needs), and there are no lockers.
